DDR Memory Bandwidth & CAS Latency Calculator

Estimate theoretical DDR memory bandwidth and CAS or first-word latency from transfer rate, bus width, channel count and memory timings.

Theoretical bandwidth (GB/s) = MT/s × data-bus bits × channels ÷ 8 ÷ 1000. CAS latency (ns) = CL × 2000 ÷ MT/s. First-word estimate (ns) = (CL + tRCD) × 2000 ÷ MT/s.
