Compare your entered home-brew cost with a bought-drink cost and estimate a simple break-even point.
How the estimate works
Savings per cup = bought drink cost − home cup cost. Break-even cups = equipment cost ÷ savings per cup (only when savings are positive).

About this tool
Compare the per-cup cost you enter for home coffee with the price you enter for a bought drink. If the home cup is cheaper, the tool estimates how many cups would recover an equipment cost you provide. This is a simple arithmetic scenario: it excludes electricity, maintenance, waste, financing and changing ingredient prices. It is not a product recommendation. For replacement filters or cleaners, look up the full machine model and follow its manual because filter and descaler requirements differ between machines.
